A week after the traumatic events in Vegas, UFC actually did something right. They kept the schedule and had the October PPV, saying to loonies all over the world – in the words of the recently late and forever great Tom Petty – “I won’t back down.”
As always, let’s discuss my picks quickly. Then, we’ll chat about this, that and the other.
Oh Edmonton, you done F’d up a good night of MMA. I mean, didn’t we suffer enough? with the MayMac circus, followed by the Jones debacle?
I know, I can’t dump it on the city. But perhaps the commission should answer a few pointed freaking questions. Not the least of which is – What the hell happened to my prediction rate!?

Today I want to open up a discussion about the two biggies. I’m not sure myself how to “fix” these, but I do intend to throw a solution or two. Well, in the last couple of days I was toying with an idea about tying two things I love together into one post. Music and MMA. Now, we know that fighters have their walk-in music. Some choose a song based on their current mood, or if they want to make a specific statement. Others have a song they always use. That’s all nice and dandy.
