When Joe Rogan screamed the pre-PPV hype, next to Anik and Cormier, he dubbed the Co-Main and Main event of UFC236 “Who knows fights”. That was true. Who knew? Well, some of us thought we did, but even those of us who called the right score, would admit it wasn’t a lock. For my part, I can say that all the main card fights were kind of “Who knows?” Let me put in a bit of, badly written, foreshadowing – Not me…

UFC 230 AfterMMAth (Prime Time At The Garden)

Four out of the five main card fights ended via finish, while the prelims (which always find ways to be awesome) sported a total of two. Yet, I’d argue that up to the last 2 preliminary fights, it was still a very entertaining undercard. Not too many shenanigans, so… let’s get on with things.

UFC 221 AfterMMAth (Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Vey)

Many people said this was not a card worthy of a PPV and you know, they might still have a case. It was, however a very enjoyable night of fights, with tons of action and fun fights, starting in the early prelims (very early if you were in Perth Australia…) all the way to the main event. We saw Israel Adesanya’s violent debut and a spinning back fist knockdown, A magnificent GnP and a surprising but welcome Kimura. But I’m getting ahead of myself here.
