Some cards look great on paper. Some of them disappoint come fight night. Some fizzle before our eyes, to become “average”. Others still, are made of the stuff of legend. Cards that – barring injury or other kind of craziness – you simply know, don’t have it in them to let you down.
Such a card took place in Anaheim, CA last night.

Welcome back for another AfterMMAth post and what an AfterMMAth it is. Strictly MMA speaking, UFC204 is way up there with the best event of the year contenders. Top to bottom, mostly finishes, mostly submissions, mostly chokes. Some really high quality showcased. And to top things off, the hometown hero reigns supreme while the legend can now retire on a really good performance.

UFC announced some pretty sick cards coming up. Cards that may make this one pale in comparison. A word of advice folks – don’t just a card by its cover 🙂 This one has all the making of a good fight card. For one, I care far more about anything but the main event.
