UFC 238 AfterMMAth (Two Eyes, One Nose, One Big Mouth)

For the longest time, UFC 238 flew right under my radar. That was until they announced Cowboy Vs. Ferguson. This fight was scheduled to “save a dull card” apparently. So, I went and looked at the scheduled fights and realized that, although “The People’s Main Event” will certainly bring the buzz to Chicago, the card is full of gems as it is. I thoroughly enjoyed it for the most part.
Alright, let’s jump right to my picks. Then, we’ll chat about this, that and the other.

UFC 225 AfterMMAth (It’s All In The Game)

UFC225 was a 3-in-1 deal, where every section (Fight pass prelims, TV prelims, Main card) could each be a main card on any given night. The main card featured 5 fights, all of which went to decisions, the 13 fights on the whole evening yielded only 5 finishes and still, 225 was a very entertaining card top to bottom.

UFC 221 AfterMMAth (Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Vey)

Many people said this was not a card worthy of a PPV and you know, they might still have a case. We saw Israel Adesanya’s violent debut and a spinning back fist knockdown, A magnificent GnP and a surprising but welcome Kimura. But I’m getting ahead of myself here.
Let’s discuss my picks quickly. Then, we’ll chat about this, that and the other.

UFC 221 – Predictions

A lot of people question whether this card is “PPV worthy”. Me? I don’t really care. I see good potential and hope that this would become one of those cards that deliver more than expected. Interesting fights from early prelims to main event, which will give us the identity of the middleweight number one contender. I don’t have a lot of time so…
Let the predicting of UFC 221 coming up on Saturday, February 10th on PPV commence. (All credits go to UFC/WME-IMG for all photos.)
